Robyn Rihanna Fenty, also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. In her prime, Rihanna has emerged as one of the music's top artist. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music and began singing while she was young. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and endless arguments with her parents, she immersed herself in music, and soon realized she wanted to be an accomplished singer. In her teens, she joined a musical band. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was awestruck. The girl relocated to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna dropped her debut album, and was an instant hit. Her uplifting songs became top of the charts among teenagers who pushed her into the world of film. Beautiful young and extremely talented her name is today considered an teen idol as well as a style icon. Rihanna puts her fame into good use by being actively taking part in various charity causes.
