Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American singer and model from the United States. Also, she was co-starring in Prince's 1984 film, Purple Rain. She is best known as the lead in Prince's 1984 Purple Rain film and lead singer in the girl-group Apollonia 6 Apollonia, a singer/actress who was christened by Prince in 1984, became one of many female singers of the 1980s who benefitted from Prince.
