Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician who started her career through innovative raps which addressed the issues of sexuality and race with a the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came in the form of trumpet. In addition to classical and jazz, she began studying hip-hop in her teens. When she was in college, she concentrated on her studies. She studied women's studies as well as journalism. In a short period of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also available. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until she finished her studies. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014.
